Disconnect Existing Cellular
Hardware
Using the uControl Cellular Hardware
The uControl system provides superior protection for your home because alarm
events and security status can be communicated to you and to the central
monitoring station in the following ways:
•Internet
• cellular networks
• standard phone lines
Most home security systems do not have cellular communication devices integrated
into the alarm system. However, if you do have a separate existing cellular
hardware device wired into your alarm box, you need to disconnect this device to
use the uControl cellular hardware.
Disconnecting the Power from the Existing Cellular

your key to open the front cover.
